DAY 1: En Route
Depart the U.S.A. on your flight to Turkey.
DAY 2: Arrive Istanbul Airport
Istanbul holds the remnants of three great empires that ruled
the city over the centuries: the Roman, Byzantine, and Ottoman
Empires. Begin a tour of the city with Hagia Sophia (St. Sophia's
Church) and the great underground cisterns.

DAY 3 - 5 : Istanbul - Cappadocia
Continue sightseeing in Istanbul, taking in Topkapi Palace,
home to an impressive collection of priceless jewels and artifacts;
the Blue Mosque; and the ancient Roman Hippodrome. Fly then
to Cappadocia, a land of churches, rock-hewn dwellings, fairy
chimneys, and beautiful valleys.
  
DAY 6 - 7: Cappadocia - Antalya
Cappadocia is full of amazing sights, including the Goreme
Open-Air Museum, underground cities, and remnants from the first
civilization of Anatolia. Enjoy a full-day tour of Antalya,
including the Perge ruins. Tour the well-preserved Roman theater
of Aspendos and the marvelous, classic ruins of Side.
  
DAY 8 - 9: Kalkan - Gocek
Travel to Kalkan and visit the Church of St. Nicholas, the
ancient theater, and the neighboring Lycien Rock Tombs. Tour
the wondrous ruins of the Sunken City by boat near the town
of Kale. In Goçek, tour the Patara Ruins and the ruins of Letoon
and Xanthos – both UNESCO World Heritage Sites.
  
DAY 10- 12: Bozburun - Datca - Bodrum
Spend three remarkable nights aboard a Gulet Yacht. From
Marmaris cruise along the coast of Turkey through several scenic
inlets to Bozburun, Datça, the Knidos ruins, Gokova Bay, and
Bodrum. The way is surrounded by thousands of lush coves and
bays, long peninsulas, and picturesque tiny islands.
  
DAY 13: Bodrum
In the busy coastal town of Bodrum, with views of the Greek
Island of Kos, visit the Crusader Castle, featuring a Museum
of Underwater Archeology, mausoleum, and wonderful antique theater.
  
DAY 14 - 15: Pamukkale
Tour the Aphrodisias ruins en route to Pamukkale. The city
is well-known for its amazing ruins of the Roman city of Hierapolis.
Continue on to Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities
in the world, then return to Istanbul for one final night.
  
DAY 16: Istanbul
After breakfast, transfer to Istanbul Airport for departure.
