ISTANBUL PALACES AND PAVILIONS TOUR
Morning visit to the Dolmabahce Palace, the last residence of Ottoman Sultans, with its 365 rooms and 22 saloons and famous with the great collection of antiques, furniture and 4.5 ton chandelier. (Harem section is excluded) Then cross to the Asian side to visit Camlica Hill to observe the best panoramic view of Istanbul, and then tour the Beylerbeyi Palace, the summer residence of the Ottoman Sultans, with its original furniture and magnificent gardens. After lunch visit to Ihlamur Pavilion where Ottoman Sultan Abdulmecit entertained special guests including the French poet Lamartine. After having visited Aynalikavak Kasri, constructed in the 18th century by Ahmet III and the only royal pavilion built in the traditional Ottoman style that survives outside Topkapi Palace, before enjoying your tea at the Pierre Loti Cafe on a hill in Eyup with its wonderful views over the Golden Horn.
