DAY 1: En Route

Depart the U.S.A. on your flight to Turkey.


DAY 2: Arrive Istanbul - Ankara

Meet our guide and transfer to the hotel by coach. A short briefing will be provided by our guide at the hotel in the afternoon. Evening at leisure.


DAY 3: Cappadocia

Drive to Hattusas (capital of the Hittites), visit the Lions Gate, Underground Gate, Citadel, Great Temple, the Sanctuary of Yazilikaya. Lunch in town. Overnight in Cappadocia. BreakfastLunch


DAY 4: Cappadocia

Visit Uchisar and then proceed to the Open Air Museum in Goreme through Avcilar Valley and visit to the early Christian churches decorated with unique frescoes depicting various scenes from the Bible. Finally we visit Zelve region and Avanos and then we have some time for shopping as the area is known for its handicrafts like carpet, onyx and pottery making. Overnight in Cappadocia. Optional Cappadocia Balloon Ride: You will leave the hotel before sunrise for an unforgettable balloon trip over Cappadocia. The balloon trip is available between April-October, when the morning weather is calm. The ride ends with a champagne breakfast.


DAY 5: Cappadocia

After having breakfast in the hotel drive to visit Kaymakli Underground City, where early Christians hid from persecutors. After lunch drive to Soganli Village, which is an interesting valley with around 150 churches some of which are in good condition. BreakfastLunchDinner


DAY 6: Cappadocia - Kayseri - Istanbul

Transfer to the Kayseri Airport. End of our services. Breakfast
